BiB had the amazing opportunity to visit the impressive VICTOR BRAUNER exhibit at Muzeul Națională de Artă Timișoara. Brauner was a #surrealist #visualartist of many dimensions who ultimately was a rebel who marched to the beat of his own drum. A Jewish-Romanian, who is now buried in Paris’s Montmartre Cemetery, he suffered antisemitism and poverty throughout his life. These barriers did not stop him from staying true to his spirit and creating art that is fearless and thought-provoking to this day.
